Mobile lines move fast. This guide shows how to install OddsGuard on iPhone or iPad so the Safari extension can compare prices while you browse — the same overlay experience as desktop, without juggling six apps.
What you’ll learn
- Where to download the official OddsGuard iOS app
- How to enable the Safari Web Extension in iOS Settings
- Which permission toggle Safari requires (and why it sounds broader than it is)
- How to confirm the extension is live before you place a bet
Step-by-step
- 1
Download the app
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, search for OddsGuard, and tap Get. The app bundles the Safari extension — you do not install a separate browser add-on.
- 2
Open Activate in the app
Launch OddsGuard once. The Activate tab walks you through extension setup and shows whether Safari currently sees the extension as on or off.
- 3
Enable the extension in Settings
Go to Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → OddsGuard and switch Allow Extension on. The in-app shortcut jumps straight to this screen if you need it later.
- 4
Grant site access
Safari only offers per-site or all-sites permission. Choose Allow on All Websites (or Always Allow) so the extension can activate on any supported sportsbook you visit. We still only run on sportsbook domains we support — not arbitrary sites.
- 5
Test on a sportsbook
Open Safari, visit a supported sportsbook, and look for the floating OddsGuard control or inline price comparison near the odds. If you see it, setup is complete.
Why install on mobile?
Sportsbooks adjust moneylines and spreads throughout the day. If you only shop lines at your desk, you can miss a softer price that was available for minutes on your phone.
OddsGuard brings live comparison data into Safari on iOS so you can spot a better number before you tap through to the bet slip — without opening a spreadsheet or a second book in another tab.
Troubleshooting quick checks
If the overlay never appears: confirm the extension toggle is on, permissions are set to allow all websites, and you are browsing in Safari (not Chrome or an in-app browser inside another app).
Still stuck? The Activate tab in the app re-checks extension status, and our FAQ covers the “All Websites” permission in more detail.
