- Point Spread
- A handicap applied to the favored team. NBA spreads are typically 1 to 15 points. The favorite must win by more than the spread for a spread bet to cash.
- Over/Under (Game Total)
- A bet on whether the combined points scored by both teams exceeds or falls short of the bookmaker's line. NBA totals typically range from 210 to 240.

- Bankroll
