What Twitch permits, and what it bans

Twitch currently permits broadcasting websites focused on fantasy sports, sports betting and poker. It does not permit sharing links or affiliate codes to sites that contain slots, roulette or dice games, or streaming those sites. An odds overlay that shows licensed sportsbook prices is the permitted kind of content — not a casino site on your scene.

When the Gambling label is required

Twitch requires the Gambling content classification label when a stream features live participation in gambling, including actively betting on sports or fantasy sports on stream. Discussing prices, or showing live odds without placing a bet, is not the same as betting on camera. Apply the label when you bet. The label typically shows viewers an interstitial before they watch — it is not a collapsed overlay like Mature-Rated Games.

If a sportsbook is paying you

Branded content is anything produced for a brand in exchange for value — money, or free products. A sportsbook sponsor, a logo on the scene, or a paid endorsement is branded content. Use Twitch's Branded Content disclosure tool so viewers see the on-stream disclosure. Promotion of slots or roulette sites stays banned even when it is paid.
